Come join us for a relaxing boat ride around Cherry Creek Reservoir. 

​

Our public tours are approximately 75 minutes in

length.  We start at the marina, on the west side of Cherry Creek Reservoir. 

​

Summer tours run from the first Saturday June through the last Sunday in September (weather permitting). 

Things To Know

​

  • When should I make my weekend tour reservations?

We recommend making reservations as soon as you know you when you want to join us.  Our tours quite often sell-out and we would hate for you to not be a part of our voyage.

​

  • What should I bring with me?

Recommended items to bring are: a copy of your ticket (on your phone or a paper copy), sunscreen, a hat, a lightweight jacket, sunglasses, a bottle of water.

  • Where should I park?

We are located at Cherry Creek Reservoir at the west entrance.  Parking is available near the Lake House. There is a parking fee of $11/vehicle/day (if a ranger is not at the park entrance, use the kiosk, that accepts credit cards only located at the entrance of the park.

  • When time do we board the Pelican Princess?

Boarding time is 10 minutes prior to departure.

​

  • When should I arrive?

We recommend you to arrive at least 30 minutes (60 minutes on holiday weekends) before the departure time to allow enough time to park your vehicle and walk down to the dock.

  • Does the Pelican Princess sail in inclement weather?

Colorado weather can change quickly.  We do not run tours in inclement weather. Tours may be canceled on the day of due to weather conditions. Notification will be sent out via email as soon as a decision is made regarding cancellations.  If a tour is canceled due to inclement weather, you’ll be offered the option of booking on a different date or a full refund.​

  • Is the Pelican Princess handicapped accessible?

We are wheelchair accessible.  There is a steeper slope to the lake and dock.  The boarding ramp and main deck of the vessel are accessible to wheelchairs.  Please contact us at 720-826-0101 with any questions.

  • Can I smoke on the boat?

There is no smoking allowed anywhere on the Pelican Princess.​

​

  • Are there restrooms on the boat?

Yes, there are two restrooms on the boat.​

​

  • What is the maximum capacity?

The Pelican Princess welcomes 50 passengers.​

​

  • Are pets allowed on the Pelican Princess?

We do not allow pets on board our vessel.  Service animals are always welcome.​

​

  • Does the Pelican Princess provide lifejackets?

Yes we do.  Children 12 and under must wear a lifejacket.  All other passengers will be offered a lifejacket prior to departure.   â€‹

​

  • Is gratuity allowed?

Gratuity is highly appreciated! The ticket price for the boat tour doesn’t include gratuity. Our crew does everything they can to ensure your experience as safe and pleasant as possible.​
